Global Development Manager - University

In this position you will initiate, develop, execute, and maintain international projects for the university. This includes creating partnerships with: colleges, universities and institutes across Canada; K - 12 schools outside of Canada; Canadian post-secondary institutions; industry; relevant associations and organizations; and governments.

Duties include: conducting needs assessments; establishing partnership agreements; monitoring current international programs; preparing grant and funding applications; and supervising staff.

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Public Relations, International Relations, Anthropology, Economics, Geography, Law, Linguistics, Political Science, Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, Interdisciplinary Studies, or related subject.

  • Prepare Your Job Search Documents. (e.g., LinkedIn profile, CV/Resume, cover letter, and portfolio).
  • Practice your Interview Skills. Research common interview questions employers use, develop short stories you can use to demonstrate your skills and experience, and seek help from a career centre, family, or friends to do mock interviews.

Spotlight Requirement

  • At least three years of relevant work experience in related work. Preferably in the areas of international education, even planning, project management, leadership, or other relevant field.
